Artists took to the back alleys of Downtown Penticton to paint murals
and competed for prizes! The First Annual Street Art Festival has been designed in conjunction with a greater community plan for the education and reduction of graffiti and related issues. The event is geared towards distinguishing the difference between 'Street Art' and vandalism - namely permission of the property owner.
